The new ProFlex™ Clothes Dryer Transition Duct from Dundas Jafine provides a UL Approved worry free solution to venting your dryer.

Over the past four decades, the most common practice for venting clothes dryers was to use vinyl ducting.

However, it has been discovered that under certain conditions, lint fires may start in dryers and vinyl ducting does not provide the resistance necessary to prevent a fire.

In response to this, Dundas Jafine developed the U.L. tested and approved ProFlex Clothes Dryer Transition Duct. This flexible aluminum foil is UL approved for both gas and electric dryers. It’s a 4-ply aluminum foil laminate that is flame resistant with an operating temperature of 285°F.

Governments, fire departments and appliance manufacturers throughout North America are recommending the removal of vinyl ducting that may still be in use. ProFlex is a recommended replacement. It is available at leading retailers.
